Lost Peninsula Marina is located in Michigan within miles and minutes of the Ohio border.  Ohio is a Midwestern state with Columbus as its capital and became the 17th state to join the U.S. on March 1, 1803.  Ohio ranks 7th in terms of population and most of the Northern border is defined by Lake Erie, while most of the Southern border is defined by the Ohio River.  Lake Erie is home to numerous fish species, making it a popular site for commercial fishing and has over 20 islands located throughout the entire lake.
